About Soraya Ghazi Lutes:
Soraya is a freelance textile designer specializing in hand-painted original pattern design. She received her BFA in textiles from The Rhode Island School of Design. Soraya has worked with domestic Jacquard Mills as a designer, as an in-house sketch artist, as well as completed independent research in India on embroidery under the Fulbright Fellowship. She lives in Providence, RI with her husband and son.
